\"\"<\/a><\/strong><\/span>Leah Robinson<\/b>\u00a0has been a member of Laurel Creek Track and Field Club since 2008.\u00a0 She is a paralympic athlete who competes in the 100m, 200m and 400m events.\u00a0 Leah has had tremendous success in the last few years at the international level and national level.<\/div>\n
\nHighlights include:<\/b>
\n2011<\/b>
\n<\/b>International Paralympic Championship: Christchurch, New Zealand. – 5th in the 400m.
\n2010<\/b>
\n<\/b>Commonwealth Games:\u00a0 Delhi, India – 5th in the 100m and a championship record!
\nCanadian Track & Field Championship:\u00a0 Toronto, Ontario – 2nd in the 100m and 1st in the 200m.
\nUSA Paralympic Championship:\u00a0 Miramar, Florida – 2nd in the 400m, 2nd in the 200m and 2nd in the 100m.
\n2009<\/b>
\n<\/b>Canadian Track & Field Championship:\u00a0 Toronto, Ontario – 1st in the 400m, 1st in the 200m and 1st in the 100m.<\/p>\n

2008\u00a0<\/b>
\n<\/b>Canadian Track and Field Championship:\u00a0 Windsor, Ontario – 1st in the 100m and 1st in the 400m and a Canadian record!<\/p>\n

USA Junior Championship – New Jersey.\u00a0 -1st in the 400m, 1st in the 200m and 1st in the 100m.
\n-represented Canada at the Beijing Olympic Games in the 100m and 200m.
\n-Canada’s youngest track athlete at 14 years of age!
\nMost recently, Leah was nominated for the 13th Annual Civitan Sports Kitchener-Waterloo And Area Athlete Of The Year.\u00a0 She was nominated based on her three gold medal performances at the USA Paralympic Championship Meet in Miramar, Florida.\u00a0 The winner or winners will be announced on May 25 at the Awards Dinner and Gala which will be held at the Woolwich Memorial Centre in Elmira.
\nLeah attends Rockway Mennonite Collegiate in Kitchener where she is an honours student.\u00a0 She will be graduating in June and will be attending the University of Ottawa in September.\u00a0 She plans on continuing with her training and competing while being a full time student.<\/p>\n
