An excellent week at OFSAA regional competitions for Laurel Creek with some great showings from our athletes.

Top performances over the course of the weekend were: Foster Malleck winning both the Senior Boy’s 1500m and 3000m.
Stephen Davis won Junior Boy’s triple jump breaking the regional record as well as qualifying for high jump.
Annika Jozin also broke the regional record in Junior Girl’s high jump.

Other LC event winners were Abbey Yuhasz who won the Senior Girls 3000m and Caleb Timm who won the Senior Boy’s pole vault. Congratulations to all our event winners!

Also punching their ticket to the @ofsaatrackandfield2019 provincials in Guelph next weekend were Sofia Bahar in Midget Girl’s 100m, Avery Hastings in the Midget Girl’s 80m hurdles, Scott Arndt in Senior Boy’s 3000m, Reider Henderson in Junior Boys 800m, Tegan Morrison in Senior Girls 800m, Brendan Chapple in Midget Boys 800m and Alex Tu and Alex Hesch in Midget Girl’s 800m.
