Great results for LC athletes at Athletics Ontario Indoor Provincials

Busy weekend of track and field at the Athletics Ontario U14, U16 and U20 Indoor provincial championships at York University.

LC had a number of athletes from all our training groups out and we registered not only a number of personal bests but a lot of top 5 performances.

Congratulations to Aabjosh Singh who was first in U14 boy’s 300m and took the silver medal in the long jump.

In addition, Travis Bannerman won the U20 men’s high jump and U18 athlete Annika Jozin took bronze in U20 women’s high jump.

Great job to the three of you!

Other top performances were Tennessee Tremain who placed 5th in both U20 men’s 1500m and 800m, Tegan Morrison placed 4th in U20 women’s 800m, U18 athlete Stephen Davis was 4th in U20 men’s long jump and Madelyn Vandermeer was 5th in U16 girl’s high jump.

Well done!
