A number of Laurel Creek athletes participated this past weekend in athletics as part of the Ontario Summer Games in Mississauga. Congratulations to all who participated.

Top results were:

Dominik Bahadur- gold in U16 100m, 200m and 100m hurdles

Emilie Gervais – gold in U14 high jump and 150m, silver in 300m

Aabjosh Singh- bronze in U16 100m hurdles and 200m hurdles

Victoria Vaughan – silver medal in U16 high jump

Anna Douma- silver medal in U16 1200m

Isaiah Stumpf- silver medal in U16 steeplechase

Also, congratulations to LC Jumps coach Chris Timm who served on the coaching staff for the Games.
