Great results from LC athletes at this weekend’s Athletics Ontario U18 and Open Indoor Championships at York University
Congratulations to all who participated. Of special note are the following who made the podium:
Top performance was Landon Reuter who took first in the U18 800m and second in the 1500m
Silver Medal performers were:
Joel Rumph in U18 high jump
Anna Douma in U18 1500m and 6th in U18 800m
Darius Edwards in U18 60m hurdles
In addition we had some excellent performances on the relay side of the meet.
Gold medals went to our
U18 Sprint Medley Girl’s A team of: Baylie Hiuser, Bella Dika, Vanessa Kamp, Anna Douma.
U18 Sprint Medley Boy’s team:
Darius Edwards, Silas Coxson, Killean Moore, Landon Reuter.
Open Sprint Medley Men’s team: Wilhelm Krauskopf, Joey McIntyre, Jeremy Helder, Brendan Chapple.
Other individual noteworthy results: were
Bailey Hiuser- 4th in U18 girls 60m hurdles
Aidan MacGregor-5th in U18 boys high jump
Isabella Dika-5th in U18 girls long jump
Michael Wei- 5th in U18 boys triple jump
Jeremy Helder-6th in Open men’s 1500m
