The Club

The Laurel Creek Track & Field Club was formed in the late 1970s with a small group of distance runners training out of the Laurel Creek Conservation area in north Waterloo. Since that time, the club has evolved into a full-service track club with well over 100 members and 14 coaches. Laurel Creek Track & Field Club is a strong presence in Ontario, and boasts an Athletics Ontario “Power Five” Club ranking.  The high ranking is a testament to our committed athletes and to our event-specific coaches.

Laurel Creek athletes compete at the local, Provincial, National and International level. Over the years many LC athletes have made National teams and gone on to successful USPORT, NCAA, and NAIA careers.

Laurel Creek has had five coaches named to national teams in the past-more than any other club in the region.
