Great results this weekend from LC athletes at the Legion Canadian National Youth Track and Field Championships at Cape Breton University in Nova Scotia.
Leading the way was Stephen Davis who competed for Team Ontario and took the silver medal in U16 boy’s triple jump and bronze in long jump both with big personal bests. Way to go Stephen!
In addition Tegan Morrison captured the silver medal in U18 girl’s 800m and Annika Jozin, who competed for Team Ontario also, struck silver in U18 girl’s high jump. Also, Abbey Yuhasz placed third in U18 girl’s 3000m. Well done ladies!
As well, Andrew Georghiades placed 4th in U16 boy’s pentathlon and Will Leather placed 5th in U16 boy’s 2000m.
