The LC hurdle group of 15 had a very successful season in 2011. We wish our university athletes the best of luck for the upcoming 2012 season. Highlights:
Conor Finnigan and Miceala Mclean appointed to the Provincial Team
High School/Elementary Season
Month of May over 120 Top 3’s, over 10 records broken.
OFFSSA– Nine athletes competed, eleven medals (Top 3)
Highlights:
Jordan Sherwood, Anna Larsson undefeated for the season.
Thirteen school track Athletes of the Year and eight Athletes of the Year.
Outdoor Season
Ontario Champions (Top 3) – 15
Canadian Champions (Top 6) – 12
Highlights:
Calvin Arsenault – 1st 400mh, 2nd 110mh @ Junior Nationals. Represented Canada @ Pan Am Juniors.
Jordan Sherwood – 2nd 300mh, 3rd 110mh @ Youth Nationals. Represented Canada @ World Youths.
Madilitso Mchaina – 2nd Triple Jump @ Youth Nationals. Represented Team Ontario.
Miceala Mclean – 1st 4X100, 2nd 80mh, 4th 200mh @ Youth Nationals. Represented Team Ontario
