It was great to be back to competition! LC athletes representing all our training groups had the opportunity to participate in the NXTCHAMP Invitational meet at York University this weekend. The event was organized as an alternative to OFSAA which was cancelled this spring and it didn’t disappoint. The competition was intense and the event top notch.

Congratulations to all our athletes but the top performances came out of the jump’s Group. Taking the gold medal was Annika Jozin who won Senior Girl’s High Jump in a tight competition. In addition, Megan Leonard took the silver medal in Novice Girl’s High Jump and 4th in triple jump. As well, Madelyn Vandermeer placed 3rd in Junior Girl’s High Jump and 6th in triple jump and Sofia Bahar was 6th in Senior Girl’s 100m.Way to go ladies!
