Congratulations to MacKenzie Morgan who won the Girl’s Emerging Elite division of the 800m at the New Balance Indoor Nationals at the Armory Track in New York City Friday night.

MacKenzie ran a personal best time of 2:13.67 to top the field of 38 athletes and take the gold medal as one of only two Canadians in the race.

The New Balance Indoor Nationals are sponsored by the National Scholastics Athletics Foundation and is one of the most prestigious youth track meets in North America drawing athletes from across the United States and Canada.
