LC athletes shine on the national stage

That’s a wrap for Legion Canadian Youth Track and Field Championships in Sherbrooke Quebec!
We had a large number of athletes competing with some great results.
Congratulations to Victoria Vaughan who captured the gold medal in U16 girls high jump. Way to go Victoria!
A big congratulations also to our U16 girls sprint medley relay team who not only won but broke the provincial record. The team consisted of: Emilie Gervais, Brooklyn Seiling, Izzy Szakacs, Julie DeBoer. Great job ladies!
Congratulations also to double bronze medalist Anna Douma who took 3rd in the U18 1500m and 3000m. Way to go Anna!
Jake Charest captured a silver medal in U16 boys 100m hurdles. Great job Jake!
Lena Eys picked up the bronze in 2000m steeplechase. Congratulations Lena!
And finally, Emilie Gervais took the bronze in U16 girls 80m hurdles and added a 6th place finish in pentathlon. Way to go Emilie!

Darius Edwards- 4th in U18 110m hurdles
Joel Rumph- 5th in U18 high jump
U 18 Girls 4 x 400- 8th. Brooklyn Seiling, Georgia Nyman, Jill Nyman, Anna Douma.
